At Bhopal’s Boat Club, a Tiranga Yatra was organised by boat on the occasion of Independence Day, featuring performances by kayaking and canoeing players. A floating Tiranga was created in the middle of the water during the event, while players also presented a Canoe Slalom show with the national flag.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated the boat Tiranga Yatra and also participated in the programme by riding a boat. Cabinet Minister Vishwas Sarang and others were present.
The floating Tiranga prepared in the middle of the water was a key feature of the event. Young players associated with kayaking and canoeing performed on the water and displayed their skills with the national flag.
The players also saluted the Tiranga through a Canoe Slalom show.
During the programme, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced that the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) would be implemented in Madhya Pradesh. He said that after the implementation of the UCC, there would be a system of equal laws for citizens in the state.

Yadav described the move as an important step towards equality and said there should be no discrimination on the basis of religion at the level of law. He said the state was moving towards implementing an equal legal system for citizens belonging to different religions.
The Chief Minister also referred to the progress of the country and its democratic system under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said India was moving towards development and prosperity with its capabilities.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav praised the performances of the young players participating in the boat Tiranga Yatra. He said their performance with the national flag on the water reflected their courage, skill and determination.
He said the players’ performance conveyed that challenges could be faced with determination and skill. He described the event as an occasion of pride for the state and congratulated all participants in the Tiranga Yatra.
