Meanwhile, in squash, India's young player Anahat Singh continued her brilliant form by entering the quarter-finals of the Boston Open PSA Challenger Tournament.

Tournament organizers stated that top seed Naomi Osaka had not fully recovered from an injury sustained in her second-round match. A left leg injury forced her to withdraw from the quarter-finals. After Osaka's withdrawal from the quarter-finals, Jaqueline Cristian received a walkover and advanced directly to the semi-finals.

This marks the third time Cristian has reached the semi-finals this year. Before her injury, Osaka had demonstrated her excellent capabilities in the tournament, defeating Wakana Sonobe and 2024 champion Suzan Lamens.
