Gorakhpur. A team from the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) will inspect Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath AYUSH University in January to assess its academic structure and systems. The university administration has accelerated preparations for the inspection.
It is reported that the commission’s team will examine the courses offered at the university, academic activities, and basic infrastructure. During this period, the Outpatient Department (OPD), Inpatient Department (IPD), classrooms, laboratories, library, hostels, herbal garden, and other facilities will be evaluated.
The main objective of the inspection is to grant recognition to the university for a total of 84 seats in 14 postgraduate (PG) level subjects. It is expected that with recognition, AYUSH education and research at the university will gain new direction.
The university administration states that all necessary standards have been met and arrangements have been completed. There is an atmosphere of enthusiasm among teachers and students regarding the NCISM team’s visit.
