Azamgarh. The main accused in the Sneha murder case has committed suicide. His body was found hanging from a tree near the Link Expressway in the Atraulia police station area on Wednesday morning. Upon receiving information, the police arrived at the scene and initiated an investigation.
According to police, the deceased has been identified as Saurabh Gaud, who was an accused in the Sneha murder case. A suicide note was also recovered from the scene, in which the accused claimed his innocence. Police are investigating the suicide note along with all the facts related to the case.
It is reported that the accused and Sneha knew each other previously. The accused had been absconding since Sneha's murder and was being searched for. The news of the accused's death has taken a new turn in the case.
The police have taken possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem. Officials stated that further action will be taken based on the post-mortem report and other evidence. The investigation into the matter is ongoing.
