Nirahua Challenges Thackeray Brothers Amidst Marathi Language Dispute, MNS Responds

Nirahua Issues Open Challenge to Thackeray Brothers Amidst Marathi Language Dispute. He stated, "I speak Bhojpuri; if you have the guts, throw me out of Maharashtra." MNS retaliated.

Marathi Row: The controversy surrounding the Hindi versus Marathi language in Maharashtra appears to be heating up once again. Several videos have emerged showing alleged mistreatment of non-Marathi speakers in major cities like Mumbai and Pune. Following these incidents, the matter has taken on a political hue. Bhojpuri film actor and BJP MP Dinesh Lal Yadav, also known as Nirahua, has given a blunt reaction, particularly concerning the targeting of the Bhojpuri-speaking community. He has openly challenged Shiv Sena (Uddhav faction) and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray.

Videos Going Viral on Social Media Shocked

Recently, some videos have surfaced in which Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) activists are purportedly threatening those who do not speak Marathi. In some cases, physical altercations have also taken place. After these videos came to light, a debate about discrimination in the name of language has begun across the country.

Nirahua Gives Open Challenge to Thackeray Brothers

BJP MP and Bhojpuri star Dinesh Lal Yadav Nirahua has reacted sharply to the whole issue. He said, "I don't speak Marathi. I speak Bhojpuri and live in Maharashtra. If you have the guts, throw me out of Maharashtra. It's easy to threaten poor people; take a panga with me."

Nirahua said that the beauty of India lies in its linguistic diversity. Different languages, cultures, and dialects unite this country. Harassing or intimidating anyone in the name of language is not only unconstitutional but also a direct attack on Indian unity.

MNS Leader Retaliates: Come to Mumbai and Show

The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena has also retaliated against Nirahua's statement. MNS leaders said that if Dinesh Lal Yadav really has the courage, he should come to Mumbai and see the situation for himself. The party alleged that some outside leaders are fueling this controversy only to gain political mileage.

Chief Minister's Appeal: Be proud of your language, don't discriminate

Amidst this controversy, Maharashtra's Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has also given a balanced reaction. He said that there is nothing wrong with being proud of the Marathi language. It is the identity of the state. But it is entirely wrong and unacceptable to harass, insult, or commit violence against any person on the basis of language. The Constitution of India gives every person freedom of expression and residence.

Fadnavis said that no one is allowed to take the law into their own hands. If anyone has a complaint, they should contact the administration, but they should not try to disturb social harmony.
