New Delhi: A new route is being planned connecting Botanical Garden metro to Greater Noida and Greater Noida West. NMRC has completed its meeting with the central government to connect Sector 142 to Botanical Garden and has issued a tender for the selection of a detailed design advisor. The Boraki route has been approved, while work on the Noida-Greater Noida West route is still pending.
NMRC holds meeting with the central government for the Sector 142 route
NMRC has held a meeting with the central government for the new route connecting Sector 142 to the DMRC's Botanical Garden metro station. The meeting discussed the technical and financial preparations for the plan. Now, a proposal will be placed before the cabinet to move this project forward. Actual work on this project can only begin after the cabinet approves it.
Meanwhile, no meeting has yet been held with the central government for the Noida-Greater Noida West route. Due to this, the implementation of this route may take some time. However, NMRC is constantly considering it and is likely to take initiative for this route soon.
Delhi Metro from Botanical Garden to Electronic City
In Noida, besides NMRC, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is also providing services. Delhi Metro's Blue Line goes from Dwarka Sector 21 to Electronic City in Noida Sector 62. Major stations on this line include Noida Sector 16, Sector 18, Botanical Garden, Noida City Center, and Sector 52.
From Sector 52 metro station on the Blue Line, NMRC's Sector 51 metro station can be easily reached. The Noida Metro Rail Corporation's route starts from Sector 51 and goes to Sector 142, Knowledge Park 2, Pari Chowk, and finally to the Depot station.
