The demand for electric vehicles is continuously increasing in the country, and amidst this, Oben Electric has launched its new and affordable electric bike, the Rorr EZ Sigma, in the market. This bike has been specifically designed keeping in mind those customers who want to travel long distances but at a low cost.
The bike has an initial price of ₹1.27 lakh (ex-showroom), and bookings have started for just ₹2999. The company claims that this bike can travel up to 175 kilometers on a single full charge.
Bike Available in Two Battery Variants
The Oben Rorr EZ Sigma is offered in two different battery variants. The first variant comes with a 3.4 kWh battery pack, priced at ₹1.27 lakh. The second variant comes with a 4.4 kWh battery, priced at ₹1.37 lakh. There is a difference in the range of both variants, but both promise powerful performance.
The company stated that both models use Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) batteries, which perform better even at higher temperatures and last longer.
Top Speed and Charging Capacity
This electric bike has a top speed of 95 kilometers per hour. The bike takes only 3.3 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h. The Oben Rorr EZ Sigma also supports fast charging, and the company claims it can charge from 0 to 80 percent in just 1.5 hours.
This feature is extremely useful for users who have to travel long distances daily and need to save time on charging.
Riding Modes and Road Grip
The bike comes with three different riding modes – Eco, City, and Havoc. Through these modes, the user can control the performance and range according to their needs. In addition, the bike has a ground clearance of 200 mm and 17-inch tires, which are suitable for Indian roads.
Because of this, this bike is capable of running with good grip not only in cities but also in villages and on rough roads.
Bike Comes in New Design and Colors
Oben has made this bike special in terms of style as well. The Rorr EZ Sigma is built on the company's existing Rorr platform, but it has some new graphics and attractive colors.
The bike is introduced with a new Electric Red color, which gives it an even more premium look. The old colors – Photon White, Electro Amber, and Surge Cyan – will also be available. The seat has also been improved to provide comfort on long rides.
The Oben Rorr EZ Sigma now features a 5-inch color TFT display. This display provides features like turn-by-turn navigation, call and message alerts, music control, and a trip meter.
It also includes a reverse mode, which makes it easy to back the bike up in parking spaces. In addition, users will also get a one-year free subscription to the Oben Electric App, which includes many smart features.
Bike Connects to Smart Mobile App
Through the Oben Electric App, users will get features like remote diagnostics, anti-theft lock, charging station locator, and ride tracking. This means that users will now be able to see the status and charging information of their bike on their mobile phones.
With this app, users can limit the bike to a defined area through geo-fencing and get immediate alerts if any suspicious activity occurs.
Special Attention to Safety
Oben has also made this electric bike quite b in terms of safety. It comes with features like Unified Brake Assist (UBA), Driver Alert System, and geo-fencing based theft protection. The bike can also run in 230 mm deep water, which makes it capable in rain and bad weather.
All these features make it suitable for running not only in cities but also in difficult terrains.
When Will Deliveries Begin?
The company has informed that deliveries of the Oben Rorr EZ Sigma will start from August 15, 2025. Test rides are already being made available at the company's dealerships, allowing customers to experience the bike themselves.
The company says that in the initial phase, the bike will be delivered in major cities of the country, and gradually it will be delivered to other regions as well.
