The application process for BA.LLB and LLB courses at Patliputra University has commenced on August 7th. Interested students can apply until August 18th. The merit list will be released on August 20th.
PPU Admission: Patliputra University (PPU), Patna, has started the admission process for BA.LLB (5-year) and LLB (3-year) courses for the academic session 2025-26. Interested students can apply online from August 7th, 2025, to August 18th, 2025. Applications are available only on the university's official website ppup.ac.in.
Important Dates and Complete Schedule
According to the official schedule released by Patliputra University:

Students who fail to apply within the stipulated timeframe will not be able to participate in the admission process. Therefore, timely application is mandatory.
Eligibility Criteria
- BA.LLB (5-year Course): To be eligible for admission to this course, the applicant must have passed the Intermediate or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
- LLB (3-year Course): To be eligible for admission to this course, the candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
Minimum Qualifying Marks:
- General Category: 45 percent
- OBC Category: 42 percent
- SC/ST Category: 40 percent
Note that the qualifying marks will be calculated based on the final qualifying examination for the respective course.
Application Fee
Students have to submit the prescribed fee online while applying. The fee structure is as follows:
- General, BC-1, BC-2 Category: ₹1500
- SC, ST Category: ₹1000
Payment can be made through Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking. Payments made through any other mode will not be accepted.

- Click on the BA.LLB/LLB Application Link available on the homepage.
- Fill in the required information and upload the documents.
- Pay the prescribed fee online.
- After submitting, take a printout of the application form and keep it safe.
Merit List and Admission Process
Admission will be merit-based. The university will release the merit list on August 20th, which will contain the names of the selected students. Based on the merit list, students can enroll by August 25th.
While preparing the merit list, priority will be given to the marks obtained in Intermediate (BA.LLB) or Graduation (LLB). If two students have the same marks, preference will be given based on age.
