In the Season 12 matches, Dabang Delhi KC opened their account with a win, while two-time champions Jaipur Pink Panthers also made a spectacular start by defeating three-time winners Patna Pirates in a thrilling encounter.

Sports News: In the ninth match of the 12th season of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), Dabang Delhi KC registered their first victory of the season by defeating Bengaluru Bulls 41-34 with a dominant performance. In this exciting match played at the Vishwanath Sports Club Stadium, Delhi captain Ashu Malik shone brightly, playing a crucial role in the team's victory by scoring 15 points single-handedly. On the other hand, Bengaluru Bulls faced their second consecutive defeat.

Dabang Delhi's Impressive Victory

In the ninth match played at the Vishwanath Sports Club Stadium, Dabang Delhi defeated Bengaluru Bulls 41-34. With this win, Delhi made a positive start to their campaign, while the Bulls suffered their second consecutive loss. From Delhi's side, captain Ashu Malik was the star performer. He scored 15 points and propelled the team forward bly. Besides him, Neeraj Narwal added 7 points. In defense, experienced Fazal Atrachali and Saurav Nandal scored 3 points each, keeping the Bulls' raiding in check.

For Bengaluru Bulls, Ali Razza Mirzane (10 points) and Akash Malik (8 points) showed better performance, but star raider Akash Shinde could only manage 3 points. His subdued performance became a major reason for the team's defeat.

Match Highlights

Delhi adopted an aggressive stance right from the beginning. After taking a 2-1 lead in the third minute, Delhi's defenders extended their lead by tackling Akash Shinde out in a do-or-die raid. In the fifth minute, Ashu Malik scored 6-1 with a super raid. Delhi then inflicted the first all-out, securing a b lead of 10-3. However, the Bulls tried to make a comeback. Yogesh got Ashu out, and Ashish kicked Naveen out. But Neeraj Narwal regained Delhi's lead by getting Dheeraj out. The score reached 21-11 by halftime.

Delhi maintained their dominance in the second half as well. Although the Bulls scored points through a super tackle in the 31st minute, Delhi immediately inflicted the second all-out, making the score 28-13. In the final minutes, the Bulls played with great intensity and even managed to all-out Delhi once, but bridging the 7-point gap proved difficult for them.

Jaipur Pink Panthers' Thrilling Victory

In the second match of the day, two-time champions Jaipur Pink Panthers began their campaign with a victory. Jaipur defeated Patna Pirates 39-36. This win was special for Jaipur as Patna is a three-time winning team. Nitin Dhankhad's performance was outstanding in Jaipur's victory. He scored 13 points and strengthened the team's raiding department. Alongside him, Ali Samadhi also played an important role by adding 8 points.

For Patna, Maninder Singh kept the team's hopes alive with 15 points. Sudhakar M garnered 9 points, but star raider Ayann Lochab could only bring in 6 points. This proved to be decisive for the team.
