He stated that the forces which promoted Naxalism and Maoist violence in the country are now more influential within the Congress. He claimed that over the past five decades, almost every state has been affected by Naxalite terror, yet the Congress provided a platform to those who did not trust the Indian Constitution.
PM Modi said that the Congress gave space to "urban Naxals" in institutions, and over time, this entire system transformed into the "Muslim League Maoist Congress (MMC)." The Prime Minister alleged that "the MMC has sidelined national interests for its political gain."
