Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated on Monday that the Bihar election results have sent a clear message to all state governments: their future depends solely on their development policies, regardless of whether they are left-wing, right-wing, or centrist.
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, speaking at an event on Monday, revealed the secret behind the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) continuous electoral success, stating that the party's true foundation for victory is an "emotional mode of 24x7 development," rather than mere electoral strategy. PM Modi also appeared to target critics who often claim that the BJP and Modi are always in 'election mode'.
The Prime Minister said that his party's ideology resonates with voters because the BJP views governance through the lens of service, empathy, and sustainable development. He added that "the resolve to fulfill people's aspirations and the continuous effort for development are what lead the BJP to win elections."
Context of Bihar Elections—A Clear Message to Political Parties
Citing the results of the Bihar Assembly elections, PM Modi stated that these outcomes have sent a clear message to all states in the country: the future of any party depends on its development policies—whether it is left-wing, right-wing, or centrist. He said, "The people of India trust political parties that have clear intentions, work transparently, and strive to realize the dreams of the public."
In his address, Prime Minister Modi also launched a b attack on the Congress party. He stated that the forces which promoted Naxalism and Maoist violence in the country are now more influential within the Congress. He claimed that over the past five decades, almost every state has been affected by Naxalite terror, yet the Congress provided a platform to those who did not trust the Indian Constitution.

PM Modi said that the Congress gave space to "urban Naxals" in institutions, and over time, this entire system transformed into the "Muslim League Maoist Congress (MMC)." The Prime Minister alleged that "the MMC has sidelined national interests for its political gain."
Appeal to State Governments - Prioritize Investment and Development
PM Modi advised all state governments to attract investment, adopt competitive development models, and prioritize the public. He said, "Whether it's the central government or governments of regional parties—everyone should place development above all else." He emphasized that ensuring the benefits of development reach every section of society is the true test of democratic governance.
Prime Minister Modi stated that the BJP is not merely an electoral machine but an organizational force driven by a spirit of service. He said that millions of workers have strengthened the party with their sweat, and many with their blood. He mentioned that "in states like Kerala, Bengal, and Jammu & Kashmir, many of our workers have also sacrificed their lives. With such a dedicated team, winning elections is not the only goal; winning the hearts of the people becomes the objective."
Thanks to Bihar Voters - Highest Turnout, Significant Women's Participation
PM Modi stated that the recent Bihar elections were historic, as the state recorded its highest ever voter turnout. He informed that women's voting percentage was approximately 9% higher than men's, which is proof of the strength of democracy. The Prime Minister said that "the increasing public trust indicates that people desire only development-oriented politics."
PM Modi informed that "our government's focus has always been development—development and only development." He said that through the government's saturation mission, it is being ensured that every eligible citizen receives the benefits of schemes and that no one is discriminated against.
