Nava Raipur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday inaugurated the newly constructed 'Academy for a Peaceful World' of the Brahmakumari institution. This grand meditation center is spread over 1.5 acres in Sector-20 of Nava Raipur and has been named 'Shanti Shikhar Retreat Centre'. Chhattisgarh Governor Rames Deka and Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai were also present on this occasion.

On this occasion, the Prime Minister extended greetings to the citizens of Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Uttarakhand on their foundation day. He stated that all three states are completing 25 years since their formation, marking a historic moment in the nation's developmental journey. "The development of the country is inherent in the development of its states. With this mantra, the campaign to make India a developed nation is continuously moving forward," Prime Minister Modi said.

PM Modi's Long-Standing Association with Brahmakumari Institution

In his address, Prime Minister Modi recalled his long and deep association with the Brahmakumari institution. He mentioned that he has participated in the institution's programs for decades and has been inspired by its spiritual and service-oriented spirit. "I have seen the Brahmakumari institution grow like a banyan tree. From the 'Future of Power' program in Ahmedabad in 2011 to the celebration of the institution's 75th year in 2012, I have had a deep connection with this family," PM Modi stated.

He further added, "Even after coming to Delhi, I got several opportunities to connect with the Brahmakumari family – be it during Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav or the Swachhta Abhiyan." The Prime Minister said that he has always seen "more service than words" in the institution's work. "I am aware of your strength, and I am a worshipper of strength," he expressed emotionally.

Interpreting the Meaning of Om Shanti

In his speech, Prime Minister Modi made special mention of the essence of "Om Shanti". He stated that it is not merely a greeting but a spiritual root of Indian culture. "Om signifies Brahman — the energy of the entire universe. And Shanti means stability, harmony, and inner balance. This is the sentiment that connects humanity and brings balance to life."

The Prime Minister said that the Brahmakumari institution operates on this very principle — "unity in words and conduct." He stated that this is the key to true transformation. Prime Minister Modi said that the Brahmakumari institution has guided the lives of millions of people through the coordination of strength (shakti), service (seva), and spiritual discipline (sadhana). "Here, every sister first molds herself through penance and spiritual practice; only then is she ready to serve society. This is the true strength of this institution," he stated. He also praised the institution's women-led structure, saying that Brahmakumari has presented the most beautiful example of women's empowerment.

Message on the Foundation Day of the Three States

Prime Minister Modi stated that the formation of Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Uttarakhand gave a new direction to the nation's development. "Today, all three states are completing 25 years since their formation. These states are not only rich in natural resources but also hold a special identity due to their hardworking people," he said. PM Modi added that the central government is continuously supporting the development of these states in the areas of infrastructure, education, tourism, and investment.
