Prayagraj has officially unveiled the logo for the upcoming Magh Mela-2026. The new logo has been designed to collectively showcase the sanctity of the Sangam (confluence), the eternal traditions, and the astrological significance of the month of Magh.
The logo incorporates the 14 Kalas (phases) associated with the movement of the sun and moon, indicating the auspicious times for bathing and rituals during the Magh Mela. Additionally, symbols like the Akshayavat tree, the Nakshatra cycle, and other representations of spirituality have been included to comprehensively present the historical, religious, and cultural identity of the fair.
The administration states that this year’s Magh Mela will be organized with improved facilities and extensive arrangements. Millions of devotees are expected to attend this 44-day mega-event, which resembles a Kumbh Mela in scale. The purpose of the new logo is to highlight the dignity of the entire event and its ancient traditions.
