Initiative to Rename National Highway
Cabinet Minister Aman Arora informed that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has written to the central government requesting that the national highway section from Patiala to Bhawanigarh be named after Shaheed Udham Singh. Several Routes Have Been Renamed Previously

This incident took place on March 13, 1940 in London. He was hanged on July 31, 1940. His courage and dedication to the country remain a source of inspiration even today.
