Rajasthan CM Launches 'Need Help' Feature for Women's Safety, Focuses on Swift Justice

Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Thursday launched the 'Need Help' and SOS alert features on the RajCop Citizen Mobile App for women's safety. He stated that the new criminal laws focus more on justice than punishment and aim to make the state a role model for the country. A high-level meeting specifically discussed law enforcement, women's safety, and swift justice.

Rajasthan: In a high-level meeting held at the Chief Minister's residence in Jaipur, CM Bhajanlal Sharma reviewed the progress of the new criminal laws implemented in the state. He said that these laws are generating trust and a positive attitude towards the justice system among the public. To further strengthen women's safety, he launched the 'Need Help' feature, which will ensure immediate police assistance in case of danger. The meeting also emphasized quick justice, police response, and improvement in law and order.

Chief Minister's statement on new criminal laws

CM Bhajanlal Sharma clarified that the purpose of the new laws is not only to punish but to ensure justice. He believes that this has increased the public's trust in the judicial process, and Rajasthan will set an example nationwide in the effective implementation of these laws. He said that the government's goal is to ensure timely and impartial justice for every victim.

Strict implementation in model districts

In the meeting, the Chief Minister directed that these laws be implemented 100% in all selected model districts and police ranges. He strictly instructed officials to continuously monitor the implementation process and avoid any laxity at any level. The aim is for the public to directly benefit from the positive impact of the law and for cases to be resolved quickly.

Need Help feature for women's safety

Giving a new direction to women's safety, the Chief Minister launched the 'Need Help' feature in the RajCop Citizen Mobile App. With this feature, women can immediately seek help in an emergency situation, and the SOS alert will immediately inform the police. In addition, citizens will also be able to get information about the progress of their cases through the app, which will increase transparency and trust.

Initiative for quick justice

CM Sharma expressed serious concern over the problem of repeated adjournments in prosecution cases. He directed that this be strictly monitored so that pending cases can be resolved quickly and victims can get timely justice.

Presence of senior officers in the meeting

Minister of State for Home Affairs Jawahar Singh Bedham, Chief Secretary Sudhansh Pant, DGP Rajiv Kumar Sharma, along with senior officers from the Home, Law and Legal Affairs, Health and IT departments were present in the meeting.
