In Delhi’s Aya Nagar area, 30-year-old gym trainer Vijay Kumar was shot dead outside a gym on Tuesday morning. According to his family, four attackers arrived on two motorcycles and opened fire, hitting Vijay with four bullets, including two to the head.
According to Vijay’s family, the attackers used a child to call him outside the gym. As soon as Vijay came out, the motorcycle-borne assailants allegedly opened fire.
Vijay was working as a trainer at The Perfect Gym in Aya Nagar. At the time of the incident, he was inside the gym preparing for an online training session.
According to his uncle, four people arrived on two motorcycles and fired several rounds at Vijay. The family claims that more than 12 rounds were fired at the scene.
Vijay was hit by four bullets, two of them in the head. He died at the spot. The attackers fled after the shooting.
Police have begun investigating CCTV footage from cameras installed around the crime scene. According to the family, cameras on both sides of the gym captured the incident.
Police have taken the CCTV footage into their possession and are examining it to identify the accused. Investigators are also checking the routes used by the attackers and information related to their motorcycles.
Police have not yet publicly disclosed the identities of the accused or provided information about any arrests. The actual motive behind the killing will become clear after the investigation.
According to his family, Vijay left home for the gym at around 5 am as usual. The family learned about his death at around 10 am.
Vijay’s wife said the family expected him to complete his work and return home as usual, but they later received information that he had been shot.

The family has also expressed concern that other members could face a threat if the accused are not arrested soon. They have sought security and strict action against the accused from the police and administration.
