Rajasthan CM Sharma Accuses Congress of Corruption and Promises Poverty-Free State

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has targeted the Congress, stating that the previous government worked for commissions and ruined the future of the youth. He emphasized good governance, transparency, and poverty alleviation as his government's priorities.

Jaipur: Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has sharply criticized the Congress, stating that the previous government prioritized commission-taking and played with the future of the youth. He asserted that the BJP government is working on the resolution of "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas" (Collective Effort, Inclusive Growth) and that good governance is being given the highest priority.

The Chief Minister made these remarks on Tuesday (August 26th) at the MP-MLA Dialogue program, where he discussed the development of the state with public representatives. Sharma clarified that his government has not discriminated against any assembly constituency and that policies are being formulated keeping in mind the vision of a developed Rajasthan-2047.

CM Bhajanlal Sharma Accuses Congress of Paper Leaks and Corruption

CM Bhajanlal Sharma made serious allegations against the Congress government, stating that the youth suffered the most during its tenure. Competitive exams were repeatedly marred by paper leaks, leaving the careers of millions of young people hanging in the balance.

He said that not a single paper leak incident has occurred during the BJP government's one-and-a-half-year tenure, which is one of the biggest achievements of transparent governance. Sharma described this as an important step towards "youth-friendly governance," stating that this change reflects his government's commitment to good governance and accountability.

BJP Government's Goal of 'Poverty-Free Rajasthan'

The Chief Minister further stated that the BJP government has resolved to create a poverty-free Rajasthan. For this, the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Poverty-Free Village Scheme has been implemented, under which the process of removing poor families from the BPL list has been started in more than 10,000 villages.

According to him, this scheme will not only accelerate rural development but will also help in connecting the poor section with the mainstream. Sharma appealed to public representatives to cooperate with the government in taking these schemes to every village so that every needy person can benefit from them.

Major Leaders Participated in the Rajasthan Dialogue Program

Several prominent leaders associated with Rajasthan's politics were present at this dialogue program. MPs-MLAs and BJP office bearers from Nagaur, Jodhpur, Barmer, Jalore-Sirohi, Pali, Bikaner, Sriganganagar, Jhunjhunu, Sikar, Churu, Jaipur, Alwar, Ajmer, and Dausa regions participated in it.

On this occasion, BJP state president Madan Rathore, Union Ministers Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Arjunram Meghwal, Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Premchand Bairwa, and senior leader Rajendra Rathore were also present. Chairman of the State Finance Commission, Dr. Arun Chaturvedi, stated that the government has implemented 80-90% of the announcements made in its budget. Also, the Ram Jalsetu Link Project and the Yamuna Water Agreement have also been materialized, which will prove to be historic steps for the state's water management and agricultural sector.
