Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar 2’ to Begin Paid Preview Shows on March 18 Ahead of Nationwide Release
Paid preview screenings of actor Ranveer Singh’s film Dhurandhar 2 will begin in India on March 18 from 5:00 pm, allowing audiences to watch the film one day before its scheduled nationwide release on March 19.
The trailer for the film was released on March 7, after which advance ticket bookings were opened. Ticket sales for the paid preview shows were also made available immediately following the trailer launch.
The decision to hold paid preview screenings was announced by KVN Productions. The production house stated that the move was made considering the film’s long runtime and the Eid holiday period, with the objective of enabling theatres to schedule a higher number of shows on the opening day.

The official trailer of Dhurandhar 2 was released at 11:00 am on March 7. Advance ticket bookings for regular shows and paid preview screenings were opened after the trailer launch to allow audiences to secure seats in advance.
KVN Productions stated that the release strategy was also influenced by the postponement of actor Yash’s film Toxic due to issues currently affecting parts of the Middle East. According to the production house, this development created an opportunity for Dhurandhar 2 to secure an earlier preview window.
The first instalment of the Dhurandhar franchise recorded global box office earnings exceeding ₹1,300 crore. The makers are aiming for the sequel to achieve a comparable performance.
With preview screenings beginning on Wednesday evening and the Eid national holiday falling on Thursday, the scheduling is expected to allow theatres to run additional shows during the initial days of release.
Preview screenings will begin in cinemas across India from 5:00 pm on Wednesday, enabling audiences to watch the film ahead of the official March 19 release.
