Royal Challengers Bengaluru continued their winning run in the Women’s Premier League 2026 with a 32-run victory over Gujarat Giants in the ninth match of the tournament.
Chasing a target of 183, Gujarat Giants were bowled out for 150 as Royal Challengers Bengaluru registered their third consecutive win under the captaincy of Smriti Mandhana.
Gujarat Giants’ run chase began on an unsteady note with the first wicket falling at 34, when Sophie Devine was dismissed for 8. In the following over, Beth Mooney was dismissed after scoring 27 off 14 balls. Gujarat suffered another setback when captain Ashleigh Gardner was dismissed for 3, leaving the chase under pressure early.
Shreyanka Patil led Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s bowling attack with figures of five wickets for 23 runs in 3.5 overs. Her wickets included Kanika Ahuja, Georgia Wareham (13), Kashvee Gautam (18), Tanuja Kanwar (21) and Renuka Singh (2).

Lauren Bell also contributed with the ball, taking three wickets for 29 runs in four overs. She dismissed Ashleigh Gardner, Bharti Fulmali and Shivani Singh.
For Gujarat Giants, Bharti Fulmali top-scored with 39 runs off 20 balls, including three sixes and three fours, but her innings was not enough to keep the chase alive. The Gujarat innings ended at 150.
Earlier, Gujarat Giants won the toss and elected to field. Royal Challengers Bengaluru had a difficult start, losing four wickets for 43 runs. Smriti Mandhana scored 5, Grace Harris made 17, Dayalan Hemalatha was dismissed for 4, and Gautam Naik scored 9.
Richa Ghosh and Radha Yadav then stabilised the innings with a crucial partnership. Radha Yadav scored 66 runs off 47 balls, including three sixes and six fours. Richa Ghosh added 44 runs off 28 balls, hitting two sixes and two fours.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru finished on 182 for 7 in 20 overs.
With this result, Royal Challengers Bengaluru recorded their third straight win of the season. They had earlier defeated Mumbai Indians by three wickets and UP Warriorz by nine wickets. The 32-run win over Gujarat Giants placed Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the top of the WPL 2026 points table.
