In the tournament's first semi-final, South Africa Champions entered the final after defeating Australia Champions by one run in a thrilling match. With this victory, South Africa Champions will now face Pakistan Champions on August 2nd.
After winning the toss and electing to bat first, the South African team scored 186 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs. In reply, the Australia Champions team remained in the fight till the last over but could only score 185 runs in 20 overs.
Batsmen provided a b start
The batsmen of South Africa Champions put on a b performance in this crucial match. Openers Morne van Wyk and JJ Smuts gave the team a solid start.
