Tej Pratap Yadav Accuses Congress of Disrespecting Ram, Krishna, and Mahadev. He launched a sharp attack on Congress and opposition parties over issues of tilak tradition, religious beliefs, and comments on women.
Bihar: Political rhetoric has once again intensified in Patna. Tej Pratap Yadav, a leader associated with the Rashtriya Janata Dal and the elder son of Lalu Prasad Yadav, has launched a major attack on the Congress party, openly branding it as anti-Ram. He stated that Congress has always disrespected Hindu symbols of faith and its leaders maintain a distance from religious traditions. Tej Pratap Yadav's statement has become a topic of discussion in political circles.
Tej Pratap Yadav clearly stated that the Congress party has hurt the sentiments of Lord Ram, Krishna, and Mahadev on every occasion. He alleged that Congress's thinking has always been against Sanatan traditions, and that is why the public is gradually understanding their true nature.
Support for Giriraj Singh's Statement
Tej Pratap Yadav supported the recent statement by Union Minister Giriraj Singh, saying that he had spoken absolutely correctly. Giriraj Singh had accused the Congress of opposing the proposal to rename MGNREGA as the VB-G Ram Ji Act. Giriraj Singh had said that Congress objects to the inclusion of Lord Ram's name in the scheme.
Reacting to this statement, Tej Pratap Yadav said that Congress's problem is with the name of Lord Ram. He said that this is not new, as Congress's history has always been against religious beliefs. Tej Pratap Yadav said that the people of the country are now beginning to understand who respects faith and who only does politics.
Comments on Chandan Tilak
Tej Pratap Yadav also questioned the religious identity of Congress leaders. He said that Congress leaders never wear a sandalwood tilak on their foreheads. He said that this is a part of Indian culture and leaders should adopt it.

He said that applying a tilak is not hurting any religion, but it is a symbol of our tradition and faith. Tej Pratap Yadav also added that showing faith does not make anyone smaller or bigger, but strengthens connection with the public.
Respect for All Religions
However, amidst his b statements, Tej Pratap Yadav also showed balance. He clearly said that he respects all religions and communities. He said that Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, and Christians are all brothers and the country's unity lies in this diversity.
Tej Pratap Yadav said that disrespecting any religion is wrong and religious sentiments should not be hurt for the sake of politics. He said that the country will only progress when all communities get equal respect and hatred politics is avoided.
Strong Opposition to Comments on Women
Tej Pratap Yadav also took a b stance regarding the comments made by Giridhari Lal Sahu, the husband of a minister in Uttarakhand, about women in Bihar. He termed this statement as highly objectionable and said that such language cannot be tolerated.
Tej Pratap Yadav demanded strict action against Giridhari Lal Sahu. He said that disrespecting the women of Bihar is an insult to the entire state and will not be accepted at any cost.
Apology Deemed Insufficient
Tej Pratap Yadav clearly said that simply apologizing is not enough in this matter. He questioned who the apology was being offered to. He said, have the daughters of Bihar forgiven him?
He insisted that if a genuine apology is to be offered, Giridhari Lal Sahu should come to Bihar and apologize publicly. Tej Pratap Yadav said that words are less important than punishing the guilty for their actions, so that no one dares to use such language in the future.
