On the third day of the Bihar Legislative Assembly's winter session, Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav has come under fire from the NDA. On Wednesday (December 3), Governor Arif Mohammad Khan delivered his address in the House, but his microphone malfunctioned during the speech.
Patna: On the third day of the Bihar Legislative Assembly's winter session, the absence of Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav became the focal point of discussion. On Wednesday (December 3), Governor Arif Mohammad Khan delivered his address, presenting details of the government's development agenda, policies, and upcoming plans. However, Tejashwi Yadav was not present in the House during this time, prompting NDA leaders to raise questions and criticize him.
Tejashwi Yadav Absent from House, NDA Takes Aim
Tejashwi Yadav was elected as the Leader of Opposition in the Assembly on Tuesday (December 2). However, on Wednesday, when the Governor delivered his address at the joint session of both Houses, Tejashwi Yadav was not present. NDA leaders consequently deemed him to have failed in playing a responsible and serious role. Raju Tiwari, the leader of the legislative party of Chirag Paswan's LJP (R), stated,
'Tejashwi Yadav is not serious. He has no concern for the House or the public. He is always absent and unable to perform his role properly. Today, the Governor's address was a very important day, and the presence of the Leader of Opposition was absolutely necessary. Despite holding a significant position, he was not present in the House. This sends a wrong message to the public.'
Senior BJP MLA and former minister Neeraj Bablu said that Tejashwi Yadav has already been rejected by the public. He added that his absence indicates his frustration and troubles. He should absolutely have been present for the Governor's address today. This is a matter of responsibility and contribution to Bihar's development, which he is ignoring.

RJD Retaliates
In this matter, RJD MLC Urmil Thakur stated that there was no debate scheduled during the Governor's address. Countering the criticism regarding Tejashwi Yadav's absence, she said,
'NDA leaders cannot conduct their politics without mentioning his name. This is not an important issue. Other RJD MLAs and MLCs were present in the House, and everyone played their part.'
According to information, Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav left Patna for Delhi on the evening of the second day of the winter session, Tuesday (December 1). During this time, he did not interact with the media at the airport. His sudden travel and absence from the House on the day of the Governor's address have intensified discussions and speculations in political circles.
