Tejashwi Yadav Accuses Bihar Government of ₹80,000 Crore Scam, Announces Public Awareness Campaign

Tejashwi Yadav, citing the CAG report, accused the Nitish government of an 80,000 crore rupee scam. The Grand Alliance will conduct a public relations tour across the state in August.

Bihar News: Politics in Bihar has heated up once again. Leader of the Opposition, Tejashwi Yadav, during a press conference on Wednesday, accused the Nitish Kumar government of serious financial irregularities. Tejashwi stated that the recent CAG (Comptroller and Auditor General) report reveals that the state government has not provided a clear account of approximately 80,000 crore rupees. He termed it the biggest scam to date.

Tejashwi said, "We have been saying all along that one engine of the double-engine government is engaged in corruption and the other in crime. The CAG report confirms our claim." He also stated that the government is misleading the public in the name of transparency and that the state's financial management has actually collapsed.

Announcement of the Grand Alliance's Public Relations Tour

Tejashwi Yadav also announced that the Grand Alliance will begin a public relations tour across the state after Raksha Bandhan. During this tour, they will educate the public on the government's failures, the corruption exposed in the CAG report, law and order, and issues such as the violation of voting rights.

He said, "We will go to every district, every assembly constituency and tell the public how their hard-earned money is being disappeared. This is not just a political fight, it is a fight for the rights and resources of the people."

Support from Bihar Congress and Potential Visit of Rahul Gandhi

Following Tejashwi's statement, Bihar Congress also came forward. State President Rajesh Ram said that the month of August will be completely dedicated to becoming the voice of the people. He stated that programs will be organized by the Grand Alliance in all nine divisions of the state, and the failures of the government will be exposed.

Rajesh Ram also informed that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi may visit Bihar in August and address a large public meeting. Preparations have begun for this event.

Questions Raised on Residential Certificates as well

Tejashwi Yadav also questioned the government's digital system and administrative vigilance. He cited the recent issuance of residential certificates in the names of Dog Babu and Monalisa as an example, stating that it is proof of deep negligence and administrative failure.

He said in a sarcastic tone, "Now we have to see in whose name the next certificate will come. First, a certificate was made in the name of Sunny Leone, now the names of Dog Babu and Monalisa are in the news. Is this the government's intensive review process?"

The Dog Babu and Monalisa Incident Puts the Administration in the Dock

It is noteworthy that recently, applications were made for residential certificates in Patna in the names of people named Dog Babu and Monalisa. Of these, the certificate issued in the name of Dog Babu went viral on social media. When this matter started gaining traction, the district administration declared them fake and canceled them. However, questions had already been raised as to how certificates were issued in such names?

The Government's Accountability Should Be Fixed

Tejashwi Yadav demanded that the CAG report be taken seriously and said that not accounting for 80,000 crore rupees is a direct attempt to avoid financial irregularities and responsibilities. He said, "We will raise this report in the Assembly as well and take its truth to the people. The government will have to answer."
