Tejashwi Yadav Launches 'Bihar Adhikar Yatra' to Connect with Public Ahead of Elections

After completing the 'Vote Adhikar Yatra' with Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav is now set to embark on a new journey. He will directly engage with the public through the 'Bihar Adhikar Yatra'.

Patna: Political activities in Bihar have intensified ahead of the upcoming assembly elections. In this context, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav is about to commence a new journey, which he has named 'Bihar Adhikar Yatra'. This yatra will run from September 16 to September 20 and will pass through a total of 11 districts of Bihar. Political experts are viewing this as a strategy for RJD in the upcoming elections and an attempt to showcase the strength of the opposition.

Route and Schedule of the Yatra

According to information, Tejashwi Yadav's yatra will start from Jehanabad and conclude in Vaishali. The districts that will be covered during the yatra are:

  • Jehanabad
  • Nalanda
  • Patna
  • Begusarai
  • Khagaria
  • Madhepura
  • Saharsha
  • Supaul
  • Samastipur
  • Ujiarpur
  • Vaishali

During the yatra, Tejashwi Yadav will present the election agenda of the Grand Alliance to the public. Additionally, he will raise issues among the public regarding the broken promises of the Bihar and central governments, explaining how state and central policies have impacted common people.

Tejashwi will also interact with his party workers and local leaders during the yatra. Instructions have been given to all MLAs, MPs, District Presidents, and office-bearers in each district to prepare for the yatra. Furthermore, SIR (Special Issue Resolution) and other social and developmental issues will also be highlighted among the public.

Experience of the Previous Yatra

Tejashwi Yadav had previously undertaken the 'Voter Adhikar Yatra' along with Congress MP Rahul Gandhi. The objective of that yatra was to garner public support against the voter list revision campaign. According to political commentators, this campaign was largely successful and strengthened RJD's public outreach capabilities.

Keeping this success in mind, Tejashwi Yadav has decided to undertake the 'Bihar Adhikar Yatra' independently. This time, he will not only connect with party leaders but will also directly engage with the public to bring their issues and needs to the forefront.

Significance of the Yatra and Opposition Strategy

RJD states that this yatra is not merely an election campaign tool, but a medium to highlight the real issues of the people of Bihar and to showcase the strength of the opposition. During this yatra, Tejashwi Yadav will:

  • Engage in direct dialogue with the citizens of Bihar.
  • Develop new election issues based on public feedback.
  • Attempt to demonstrate the united strength of opposition parties.
  • Review and criticize the policies of the central and state governments.

The public participation and support during the yatra will determine the extent to which RJD can play an effective role in the upcoming elections.
