Tejashwi Yadav and Rahul Gandhi's Voter Rights Yatra against SIR (Voter List Revision) concluded in Patna on Monday. Tejashwi sharply criticized PM Modi and CM Nitish, stating the need for an "original CM" in Bihar.
Patna: The Voter Rights Yatra led by Bihar Congress and RJD leaders Tejashwi Yadav and Rahul Gandhi reached its final day on Monday. The yatra, which began on August 17th from Sasaram, was against Voter List Revision (SIR) and vote manipulation. The march covered a distance of 1300 kilometers through approximately 25 districts of Bihar and is now concluding in Patna.
During the concluding rally, Tejashwi Yadav launched a b attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. He stated that Bihar needs an original CM, not a duplicate, and that the current government is involved in crime and corruption.
Awareness Yatra for Democracy and Voting Rights
This yatra, led by Tejashwi Yadav and Rahul Gandhi, was initiated with the aim of spreading awareness among the public about democracy and voting rights. The march covered about 25 districts of Bihar, and through public gatherings in villages and cities, people were informed about the dangers of SIR and fake votes.
The main message of the yatra was for the public to protect their voting rights and remain vigilant to prevent any voting irregularities. Opposition leaders raised questions against the government and attempted to expose political corruption and the policies of the ruling party to the public.
Tejashwi Yadav Attacks PM Modi and Nitish Kumar
In the concluding rally, Tejashwi Yadav said that Nitish Kumar is changing his stance repeatedly and his mind has become confused. He alleged that in the double-engine government operating in Bihar, one engine is dedicated to crime and the other to corruption.
Tejashwi Yadav also attacked PM Modi, stating that Modi's government is focused only on ensuring its victory in Gujarat and is ignoring the rights of the people of Bihar. He said that attempts are being made to add fake votes and suppress the voice of the public.
Bihar Needs a True and Honest Chief Minister
The RJD leader stated that crime and corruption are on the rise in Bihar and the state requires a b, impartial, and honest Chief Minister. He said that Nitish Kumar has become a symbol of moral corruption, and the public now expects a leader who will make decisions for actual development and in the interest of the people.
Tejashwi Yadav emphasized that Lalu Yadav never bowed down, and he and Tejashwi Yadav will also never compromise on their principles in the interest of the public. He reiterated that Bihar needs an original CM, not a duplicate.
