New Delhi: Expanding its presence in India, Tesla has opened showrooms in Delhi and Mumbai and is now set to establish supercharging stations. The initial network will include Gurugram, Saket, Noida, Lower Parel, Navi Mumbai, and Thane. The company will also launch mobile service, remote diagnostics, and approved collision centers. Bookings for the Model Y are underway, with deliveries of the rear-wheel drive variant expected in the third quarter of 2025 and deliveries of the Long Range RWD variant in the fourth quarter.
New Locations in Delhi
Tesla supercharging stations in Delhi will be installed in three key areas: Gurugram, Saket, and Noida. These locations have been chosen to provide easy charging access to drivers within and around the city. This network will be particularly beneficial for Tesla car owners who frequently travel within the city or undertake long-distance drives.
Expansion in Mumbai
In Mumbai, the company has also planned new supercharging points in Lower Parel, Navi Mumbai, and Thane. These stations will be in addition to the existing Bandra-Kurla Complex location. Through this new network, Tesla customers will not face any charging difficulties while traveling in and around the city.
Collision Center and Service Facility
Tesla is not only focusing on the charging network, but the company will also soon launch mobile service, remote diagnostics, and a dedicated service center. In addition, a Tesla-approved collision center will be established in India, where car repair and service facilities will be available.
Isabel Fan stated that Tesla sets small and definite goals to expand in new markets, so that customers can get reliable service. These facilities will also be made available in larger cities like Bangalore in the future.
