Sultanpur district witnessed a clash between two groups of transgender individuals in the Bir Singh Pur market on Sunday morning following an argument. The scuffle caused panic in the market and temporarily disrupted business. Reports indicate that the windows of two vehicles were damaged during the incident.
It is reported that one group was allegedly assaulting a young man in the market earlier in the morning. Upon receiving information, members of the other group arrived at the scene, leading to a confrontation and escalation of the dispute. The situation quickly devolved into a physical altercation.
Police, alerted to the situation, arrived and brought the situation under control. Members of both groups were taken to the police station for questioning. Police state that the matter is under investigation and necessary legal action will be taken upon receiving a formal complaint.
