Katihar (Bihar) district is gripped by fear following a late-night shooting incident in the Bari Bhaisdeera village under the Barari police station jurisdiction. A 15-year-old girl was injured in the gunfire and was immediately admitted to the hospital by her family for treatment.
According to information, some unidentified assailants suddenly opened indiscriminate fire in the village around 11 PM. The shooting caused panic and a stampede. During the chaos, a girl was hit by a bullet near the elbow of her left arm, leaving her seriously injured.
Upon receiving information about the incident, the Barari police station and senior officers rushed to the scene and assessed the situation. The police collected evidence from the crime scene and have launched a raid to identify and arrest the accused. Preliminary investigations suggest that the incident may be the result of a personal feud.
The injured girl is currently undergoing treatment. The police are conducting a thorough investigation into the matter.
