TVS has launched India's first hyper-sport scooter, the TVS NTORQ 150, with a starting price of ₹1.19 lakh. It features a 149.7cc engine, accelerates from 0-60 km/h in 6.3 seconds, and comes with 50+ smart features, a high-res TFT cluster, Alexa and smartwatch integration, ABS, traction control, and 22 liters of under-seat storage.

TVS NTORQ 150: TVS has launched its new 150cc hyper-sport scooter, the TVS NTORQ 150, which comes with a sporty look inspired by stealth aircraft and advanced technology. Its starting price has been set at ₹1.19 lakh (ex-showroom). The scooter is equipped with a 149.7cc O3CTech engine, 0-60 km/h acceleration in 6.3 seconds, a top speed of 104 km/h, ABS and traction control, Alexa and smartwatch integration, live tracking, navigation, OTA updates, and 22 liters of under-seat storage.

Design and Style

The TVS NTORQ 150's design is inspired by stealth aircraft. It features a sporty and futuristic look with multi-point projector headlamps, sporty tail lamps, and jet-inspired vents. The scooter has aerodynamic winglets and a naked handlebar. Colored alloy wheels and a signature muffler sound make it even more attractive.

The scooter's TFT display is inspired by a gaming console and comes with over 50 smart features. These include Alexa and smartwatch integration, live tracking, turn-by-turn navigation, and OTA updates. Additionally, it offers features for call, message, and social media alerts.

Performance of TVS NTORQ 150

The TVS NTORQ 150 is powered by a 149.7cc air-cooled O3CTech engine. This engine delivers 13.2 PS of power at 7000 rpm and 14.2 Nm of torque at 5500 rpm. The company claims that this scooter can accelerate from 0-60 kilometers per hour in just 6.3 seconds. Its top speed is 104 kilometers per hour, making it the fastest scooter in its segment.

The scooter features sport-tuned suspension and two riding modes. The new model also includes custom widgets and a four-way navigation switch. This scooter is packed with tech and advanced features for the new generation of riders.

Safety and Comfort

The new TVS NTORQ 150 comes with ABS and traction control for the first time in its segment. Additionally, it features a crash and theft alert system, hazard lamps, and emergency brake warning. Follow-me headlamps, telescopic suspension, and adjustable brake levers enhance comfort.

The scooter also offers a patented E-Z center stand and 22 liters of under-seat storage. These features make it suitable for both city riding and longer journeys.

Market Competition

In the Indian market, the TVS NTORQ 150 will compete with high-performance scooters such as the Yamaha Aerox 155 and the Hero Xoom 160. The company claims that the new scooter will be popular among the youth due to its advanced features, sporty design, and high-speed capabilities.
