Uttar Pradesh Government Transfers 23 IAS Officers in Major Administrative Reshuffle

The Uttar Pradesh government executed a major reshuffle in the administrative department late Monday night, transferring 23 IAS officers. The list includes District Magistrates and senior administrative officers from several districts. DMs of key districts such as Gautam Buddh Nagar (Noida), Ghaziabad, Prayagraj, Gorakhpur, Gonda, Kasganj, Kanpur Dehat, Lalitpur, and Mirzapur have been changed. Commissioners of Ayodhya and Jhansi divisions have also been transferred.

DMs Transferred in These Districts

The list of transfers includes the names of several prominent officers. Manish Kumar Verma has been appointed as the District Magistrate of Noida, while Deepak Meena will now take charge of Ghaziabad. Krishna Karunesh will be the new DM of Gorakhpur. Neha Sharma has been given the responsibility of Gonda, while Ravindra Kumar Mandar has been appointed as the new District Magistrate in Prayagraj.

In addition, Medha Roopam has been made the District Magistrate in Kasganj, Alok Singh in Kanpur Dehat, Akshay Tripathi in Lalitpur, and Priyanka Niranjan in Mirzapur.

Changes in Commissioners and Senior Officers Also

Gaurav Dayal has been appointed as the new Commissioner of Ayodhya Division. Meanwhile, Vimal Kumar Dubey will now take charge of Jhansi Division. Furthermore, Pramod Kumar Upadhyay has been made the Sugarcane Commissioner, while Dr. Sarika Mohan has been given the responsibility of Secretary in the Basic Education Department.

New secretaries have also been appointed in important departments such as Finance, Home, Vigilance, Water Supply, State Property, and Industrial Development.

Government Issues Full List

In the order issued by the Chief Secretary's office, all officers have been directed to assume charge at their new postings as soon as possible. This reshuffle is considered an important decision taken on the basis of upcoming elections, smooth administrative functioning, and performance.
