The UPTET 2026 result for around 18 lakh candidates who appeared for the examination is expected to be released this week. The examination was conducted on July 2, 3 and 4, 2026, and candidates will be able to check and download their scorecards online after the result is announced.
The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2026 result may be released at any time this week, according to the available information. However, the examination conducting authority has not yet officially announced a fixed date and time for the result.
Around 18 lakh candidates appeared for the UPTET 2026 examination, which was conducted at designated examination centres across Uttar Pradesh on July 2, 3 and 4, 2026. After the result is released, candidates will be able to check their marks and qualifying status.
The UPTET 2026 result will be released online. Candidates will need to visit the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Education Services Selection Commission at upessc.up.gov.in. A relevant result link will be provided on the website homepage after the result is announced.
Candidates will require their login credentials to access the result. They should keep their registration number, application number or other required credentials ready.
Candidates may face difficulty accessing the website if traffic increases after the result is released. In such a situation, they can try again after some time.
After downloading the scorecard, candidates should check details including their name, roll number, examination details, marks obtained and qualifying status. If any error is found, candidates can contact the concerned official department.
After the UPTET 2026 result is released, candidates should first visit the official website, upessc.up.gov.in. They should then go to the Result section on the homepage, where the UPTET Result 2026 link will be available.
After clicking the link, the login page will open. Candidates must enter the required information and submit it. Once the correct credentials are entered, the UPTET 2026 result will appear on the screen.
Candidates should check their marks and qualifying status carefully. They can then download the scorecard and keep a printout for future reference.
The qualifying marks for UPTET are निर्धारित according to the candidate's category. General category candidates need to secure a minimum of 60 percent marks to pass the examination. For OBC, SC, ST and EWS category candidates, the minimum qualifying marks are 55 percent.
Candidates must therefore check their result against the qualifying criteria applicable to their respective category. Appearing in the examination alone is not sufficient; candidates must secure the prescribed minimum marks.
UPTET is a teacher eligibility examination, and the qualifying status may be relevant to candidates for future teacher recruitment opportunities. However, passing UPTET does not by itself guarantee a government teacher job. Candidates must separately meet the prescribed eligibility criteria and complete the selection process for the relevant teacher recruitment.
Around 18 lakh candidates are currently awaiting the UPTET 2026 result. Candidates should rely on the official website for result-related information rather than unauthorised websites or social media posts. Once the result is released, candidates will be able to download their scorecards online.
