Varanasi: Police have arrested two youths who were performing dangerous stunts on the road near the Cantt police station area. Police took action after a video of these stunts went viral on social media. A numberless Pulsar motorcycle was also seized from the spot.
Inspector Shivakant Mishra of Cantt Police Station stated that the arrested youths had been making videos of themselves performing stunts on the road for a long time and uploading them on social media platforms. This not only violated traffic rules but also endangered the lives of ordinary citizens.
Identification of the arrested youths: Mayank, son of Ramsevak, resident of Phulwaria (Cantt Police Station) Akash, son of Omprakash, resident of Pehluka Pura (Cantt Police Station)
According to the police, their other associates are being identified based on the special tattoos on the hands of both youths. Neither of them could produce a driving license, leading to further legal action being taken.
Inspector Mishra stated that stunting on roads will not be tolerated under any circumstances. These dangerous acts invite accidents and pose a serious threat to public safety. He clarified that strict action would also be taken against anyone found involved in such activities in the future.
