Prayagraj - Chaos erupted in the Mauaima area of Ganga Paar when a young woman climbed a high-tension electricity tower following a dispute over a love affair. Upon receiving information about the incident, the police rushed to the scene and successfully persuaded the woman to come down safely.
It is reported that the young woman was in a relationship with a local man from the same village, but their marriage was facing opposition due to family reasons. Upset by this, the woman climbed the tower and refused to come down. A crowd of villagers gathered around the tower, creating a tense situation.
The Mauaima police, upon receiving the information, made considerable efforts to persuade the woman to descend, with the help of her family. After hours of persuasion, the woman agreed and came down safely. The police then summoned both parties to the police station for a discussion.
According to the police, the situation was brought under control in time, preventing any accident. Efforts are being made to resolve the matter peacefully.
