A young man died by suicide in the Lambhua area of Sultanpur district in Uttar Pradesh two days after his girlfriend was killed in a road accident. Police recovered a suicide note from his pocket.
Girlfriend Killed in Road Accident
According to information, the young man’s girlfriend died in a road accident two days earlier. Family members said he had been in deep shock since the incident and remained withdrawn, speaking very little to anyone. They stated that he appeared mentally distressed following the accident.
Youth Found Unconscious at Home
The incident came to light when family members found him unconscious in his room. He was taken to a hospital, where doctors declared him dead. On receiving information, local police reached the spot, took the body into custody and sent it for postmortem examination.
Suicide Note Recovered
During the investigation, police recovered a suicide note from the young man’s pocket. According to preliminary information, he wrote that he had lost the will to live after his girlfriend’s death. Police have not officially disclosed the contents of the note.
Police Investigation Underway
Local residents said the two shared a close relationship and were planning to live together in the future. Police stated that the matter is being investigated from all angles. A case of suicide has been registered and further legal procedures are being carried out.
