Zimbabwe Cricket confirmed on Monday that the senior men's team will face Namibia in a three-match T20 International series at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo next week. The series will commence on September 15 and conclude on September 18.

Sports News: Zimbabwe Cricket confirmed on Monday that their senior men's team will compete against Namibia in a three-match T20 International series from September 15 to September 18 at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo. This series is considered a crucial part of the preparation for the ICC T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier 2025 for both teams.

Through this series, Zimbabwe and Namibia will finalize their team combinations and strategies to ensure optimal performance in the upcoming qualifiers.

Zimbabwe's Recent Performance

Zimbabwe put up a b fight in the recent T20 series against Sri Lanka. Although Sri Lanka won the series 2-1, Zimbabwe showed positive signs with their players' performances. Zimbabwe will field the same squad that played against Sri Lanka in the Bulawayo series. The T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier 2025 will be held in Harare from September 26 to October 4. Eight teams will participate, and the top two teams will qualify for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026, which will be hosted in India and Sri Lanka.
