Jammu and Kashmir Deputy CM Vows to Secure Statehood and Highlights Amarnath Yatra's Significance

Jammu and Kashmir Deputy CM Surinder Chaudhary declared in Sonmarg that they will secure statehood, by any means necessary. He described the Amarnath Yatra as a festival of brotherhood and tradition.

Jammu Kashmir: A statement by Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Chaudhary is currently the subject of much discussion. He stated unequivocally that restoring statehood to Jammu and Kashmir is his goal, and that every possible effort will be made to achieve it. In his statement, Surinder Chaudhary said, "We will get statehood, we will snatch it, we will not stop at all."

He made this statement during an interaction with the media in Sonmarg, where he had gone to review the preparations for the Amarnath Yatra. His statement is not only causing a stir in local politics but is also hinting at the future of the state's political landscape.

Described Amarnath Yatra as a festival of Jammu and Kashmir

The Deputy CM described the Amarnath Yatra as a festival for Jammu and Kashmir. He said that this Yatra not only holds religious significance but is also a symbol of the state's cultural and social unity. Regarding the preparations for the Yatra, he said that he himself had come to Sonmarg to inspect the tracks and other arrangements.

He said that the Amarnath Yatra is an emblem of mutual brotherhood and unity between Jammu and Kashmir. The base camp of the Yatra is in Jammu, while the cave of Baba Barfani is located in Kashmir. This geographical and cultural connection demonstrates how deeply Jammu and Kashmir are connected to each other.

Appreciation for BRO's promptness

Surinder Chaudhary specifically praised the Border Roads Organisation (BRO), who had readied the tracks in time. He said that the working days in Kashmir are limited, and therefore, completing the BRO's work before the Yatra begins is commendable.

Joint efforts of the State Government and the Shrine Board

The Deputy CM also stated that this time, the Jammu and Kashmir government and the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board are working together to make the Amarnath Yatra organized and safe. He said that the Yatra is not just a religious event; it also represents the tradition of hospitality and social harmony of Jammu and Kashmir.
