Eligibility Criteria and Educational Qualifications

Applicants for the SBI PO recruitment must possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. Candidates who have already obtained their degree or are in their final year and will receive it by December 31, 2025, are also eligible.

Age Limit

The minimum age for applying is 21 years, and the maximum age is 30 years as of April 1, 2025. Reservations for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC) will receive age relaxation as per government regulations – 5 years for SC and ST, and 3 years for OBC.

Selection Process

The selection will be conducted in three stages:

  • Stage 2: Main Examination (Mains): The Mains exam will consist of both descriptive and objective questions.
  • Stage 3: Interview or Group Discussion: The final stage will be an interview or group discussion.

Candidates will progress to the next stage based on their performance in each stage. Final selection will be based on the total scores obtained in the online exam and the interview.
