Awas Plus 2.0 Survey Launched Under PM Awas Yojana-Gramin in Rewari District.

PM Awas Yojana: A survey under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G), a joint initiative of the central and state governments, has commenced in Rewari district. This survey aims to identify impoverished and homeless families to ensure that no family remains without housing. The list of eligible beneficiaries was released by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini via video conferencing at the Mini Secretariat auditorium. Simultaneously, DC Abhishek Meena disbursed the first installment of financial assistance to the beneficiaries and provided necessary instructions to the concerned officials.

How to Become a Beneficiary

DC Abhishek Meena explained that homeless rural families can complete the home survey process using their mobile phones to avail the benefits of this scheme. Interested individuals need to download two essential apps: Awas Plus App 2024 and Aadhaar Face RD App. Through these apps, they can conduct online surveys of their homes, thereby accessing the government's housing scheme benefits.

Survey Process

First, install both apps on your mobile phone. Then, open the Awas Plus App 2024 and select the self-survey option. Next, enter your Aadhaar number and complete the e-KYC process, taking a selfie. Fill in your village and tehsil details. Then, enter the beneficiary's Aadhaar number and information about all family members. Finally, take two photographs of your home—one where the family currently resides and another where the new house is to be constructed.

Required Documents and Information

Additionally, a NREGA job card is mandatory. If you do not possess one, obtain it first. The beneficiary must also provide their bank account number. Only one survey can be conducted from a single mobile phone, so ensure all information is accurate and complete.

Eligible Families to Receive Benefits

The DC stated that those whose homes are dilapidated, damaged, or in a state of disrepair should avail the benefits of this survey. After the survey, a government surveyor will inspect the house, and after verification, the benefits of the housing scheme will be granted to the beneficiary.
