Nikita Refutes Atul's Allegations
Atul had alleged that Nikita had left the house on her own and had said that she would return soon. Atul claimed that after going to Jaunpur, Nikita's behavior changed and she filed nine cases against him one after another. However, in her defense in court, Nikita stated, "I did not leave the house; rather, Atul evicted me. He threw me out of the house in May 2021, and then in September 2021, I went to Bengaluru, thinking that Atul might have realized his mistake. But this time too, he did not let me enter the house, and I had to file a police complaint again."
Assault and Threat Revealed
In her defense, Nikita also stated that on May 17, 2021, Atul had physically assaulted her in front of her mother. "During this, Atul kicked and punched me and threw me and my mother out of the house in front of her. He also took all my jewelry, clothes, and important FD documents from me. After that, he threatened me that if I did not bring 10 lakh rupees, he would kill me and not let me enter the house."
Reasons for Atul Subhash's Suicide
Atul Subhash, a resident of Samastipur, Bihar, committed suicide by hanging himself on December 9 at his flat in Bengaluru. Before dying, Atul left behind a 24-page suicide note and a one-and-a-half-hour video. In this note and video, Atul had accused Nikita and her in-laws of abetting his suicide.
