Bihar: Bihar's political landscape is currently witnessing significant turmoil surrounding Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has accused him of disrespecting the national anthem. The opposition has bly raised this issue, demanding a nationwide apology from the Chief Minister. Meanwhile, independent MP Pappu Yadav has come out in support of Kumar amidst this controversy.

Tejashwi Yadav Demands an Apology

RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav launched a sharp attack on Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, stating that he should apologize to 1.4 billion Indians. He alleged that Kumar's actions insulted the national anthem and hurt the sentiments of the nation. Tejashwi also asserted that the people of Bihar would never forgive this insult and that it would be appropriately addressed in due course.

Pappu Yadav Defends Nitish Kumar

Pappu Yadav, the independent MP from Purnia, reacting to the issue in Delhi, stated that everyone makes mistakes. He questioned whether Lalu Yadav had never made any mistakes and whether it was appropriate to politicize every issue. He argued that Kumar's alleged mistake should not be politicized but discussed rationally.

Reminiscing about Past Coalition Days

Pappu Yadav reminded the RJD that they had supported Nitish Kumar when he was part of the JD(U)-RJD coalition. He questioned why the RJD had supported Kumar when Prime Minister Narendra Modi had called him anti-women in Parliament. He asked why this seemingly unintentional action during the national anthem is being politicized now.

“Both BJP and RJD are Fighting Against Nitish Kumar”

Pappu Yadav observed that currently, both the BJP and the RJD are opposing Nitish Kumar. He sarcastically remarked that it seems no one is willing to take on the BJP. Furthermore, he suggested that considering Kumar's age and health, focus should be on his work rather than politicizing the incident.

Rabri Devi and Misa Bharti Also Criticize Kumar

Former Chief Minister Rabri Devi also reacted to the matter, stating that Nitish Kumar's mental state is not well and if his mind is not functioning properly, he should make his son the Chief Minister.
