A meeting of the BJP legislature party will be held on February 19, 2025, to select the new Chief Minister; central observers will also participate. Subsequently, the swearing-in ceremony of the new Chief Minister will take place at Ramlila Maidan on February 20, 2025, at 4:30 PM.
Approximately 12,000 to 16,000 people are expected to attend this event, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Ministers, Chief Ministers of BJP and NDA-ruled states, industrialists, film stars, cricket players, religious leaders (Sadhus and Saints), and diplomats.
Prominent Dignitaries to Attend the Ceremony
According to BJP sources, the swearing-in ceremony of Delhi's new Chief Minister will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Ministers from the NDA, Union Ministers, industrialists from the corporate world, film stars, cricket players, saints, and sages. This ceremony will be a grand event, with 12,000-16,000 Delhi residents, saints and sages from various countries, and diplomats participating. Meanwhile, several names are emerging as contenders for the Chief Minister's post.
