Prime Minister Modi Extends Ram Navami Greetings, Seeks Lord Rama's Blessings
Rameswaram: Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his greetings to all citizens on the occasion of Ram Navami 2025 on Sunday and sought Lord Rama's blessings for the prosperity and peace of the nation. He stated, "May Lord Rama's blessings always be upon us all, and may we succeed in our endeavors."
Pamban Rail Bridge Inauguration
On this auspicious occasion, PM Modi inaugurated India's first Vertical Lift Sea Bridge—New Pamban Rail Bridge in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu. This modern technologically advanced bridge, built over the sea, will play a crucial role in facilitating rail and sea transport. Following the inauguration, the Prime Minister flagged off a train and a ship from the bridge and oversaw its operations.
Rameswaram Visit: ₹8,300 Crore Worth of Projects Unveiled
Prime Minister Modi offered prayers at the Ramanathaswamy Temple and then laid the foundation stone for Rail & Road Infrastructure Projects worth approximately ₹8,300 crore. These projects include railway line expansion, highway improvements, and initiatives to strengthen connectivity. He also addressed a public gathering and shared the nation's development model.
President and Home Minister also Extend Ram Navami Greetings
President Droupadi Murmu conveyed her Ram Navami greetings to the nation, stating, This festival strengthens the spirit of dharma, justice, and duty. She recalled the ideals of Lord Rama and appealed to all citizens to participate unitedly in the nation's development.
Home Minister Amit Shah also extended his Ram Navami greetings via social media, stating, The life of Lord Rama symbolizes truth, service, and the protection of human values. I pray to the Lord for a happy and prosperous life for everyone.
