Explosion Follows Raid on Terrorist's Home After Pahalgam Attack

Security forces raided the home of terrorist Adil, involved in the Pahalgam attack in Jammu and Kashmir, where explosive materials were found. A loud explosion occurred as the team was exiting. Fortunately, the personnel escaped safely.

Pahalgam Attack: Following the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, security forces have launched a swift operation. As part of this operation, a team of security forces raided the house of terrorist Asif Sheikh in Mangnhama village, South Kashmir's Tral.

Explosive materials were discovered during the search, prompting the personnel to exit the house. An immediate and loud explosion followed. Thankfully, the team had already evacuated, preventing a major incident.

Terrorist Adil Involved in Pahalgam Attack

As part of this operation, the army has completely demolished the Bijbehara home of Lashkar-e-Taiba-affiliated terrorist Adil Guri. Reports indicate Adil's involvement in the April 22nd attack in the Pahalgam's Baisaran area, which resulted in the death of 26 innocent tourists.

According to reports, Adil traveled to Pakistan in 2018, received terrorist training, and returned to India in 2024. He is now under surveillance by security agencies.

Government Takes 5 Strong Decisions Following the Attack

The attack has heightened concerns about national security. In response, at a National Security Committee (NSC) meeting convened on April 24th, the Indian government took five major decisions against Pakistan:

  1. Suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty
  2. Cancellation of visas for Pakistani citizens
  3. Closure of the Attari-Wagah border checkpoint
  4. Action against the Pakistan High Commission
  5. Decision to close the Indian embassy in Islamabad

The army and security agencies are currently conducting large-scale search operations in South Kashmir. The signals of b action against terrorists are clear – no terrorist organization will be able to spread terror in India without facing consequences.
