Objective and Impact of the Rozgar Mela
The primary objective of the Rozgar Mela is to empower youth through government jobs and provide them with opportunities to actively contribute to national progress. This particular Rozgar Mela saw newly appointed candidates joining prominent departments such as the Revenue Department, Ministry of Home Affairs, Postal Department, Ministry of Labour and Employment, Department of Higher Education, and the Ministry of Railways.
A statement released by the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) stated that these melas reinforce the central government's commitment to job creation. These employment opportunities ensure that all appointments are made with complete transparency and accountability.

Since the launch of the Rozgar Mela in October 2022, the central government has created over 1 million permanent government jobs. During the 14th edition of the Rozgar Mela held in December last year, PM Modi distributed over 71,000 appointment letters.
