New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is once again undertaking a unique initiative to empower women. This year, on March 8th, International Women's Day, PM Modi will hand over his social media accounts to some inspiring women from the nation. Through this special initiative, these women will directly share their experiences, struggles, and achievements with the citizens of India.

PM Modi's Announcement

The Prime Minister announced this initiative during his "Mann Ki Baat" program on Sunday. He stated, "On Women's Day, my social media account will be dedicated to Nari Shakti (women's power). I will entrust my social media platform to women who have achieved success in various fields, so that they can share their inspirational life experiences."

This is not the first time Prime Minister Narendra Modi has entrusted his social media accounts to women. Previously, in 2020, PM Modi launched a similar initiative, giving seven successful women from diverse fields this opportunity. This initiative inspired millions.

How Can Women Participate?

PM Modi invited women interested in participating in this initiative to apply through the Namo app. He said, "If you want your story to reach the world, be a part of this initiative." The Prime Minister also appreciated the increasing participation of women. He noted that women are consistently achieving new heights in fields like science, sports, education, defense, and entrepreneurship.

Recognizing Women's Success

It is worth noting that PM Modi is one of the most followed world leaders on social media. He has millions of followers on Twitter (X), Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. This initiative will therefore provide women with an excellent opportunity to reach a global audience. The aim of PM Modi's initiative is to further recognize women's achievements and make them an inspiration for other sections of society. This unique initiative on Women's Day will undoubtedly be a significant step towards women's empowerment.
