Hosting the 72nd Miss World competition (Miss World 2025), the state will welcome participants from around the world with royal splendor. The event, scheduled from May 7th to May 31st in Hyderabad, is being meticulously planned by the Telangana Tourism Department to create a memorable and world-class experience.
A Royal Welcome for Beauties from 120 Countries
Over 120 contestants will arrive in Hyderabad on May 6th and 7th. Their welcome will begin with a grand heritage walk through the historic lanes of Charminar. They will then be taken to Chowmahalla Palace for a royal welcome dinner and cultural performances.
One evening will be dedicated entirely to showcasing Telangana's culture. A 20-minute cultural program will introduce guests to the state's traditional dances, folk arts, and Sufi music. A Qawwali performance and traditional Nizami and Telangana cuisine will further enhance the evening's memorability.
International Presentation of the ‘Telangana Brand’
Under the leadership of Tourism Secretary Smita Sabharwal, preparations are underway, focusing on showcasing every aspect of Telangana's identity on the global stage. Photo-friendly zones are being created at the event venues so that participants and media representatives can capture the beauty and share it with the world.
Besides the contestants, approximately 400 international delegates, media personnel, and photographers will participate in the event. The Telangana government views this event as a tourism booster for the state, potentially yielding significant benefits for tourism in the years to come.
