Pahalgam Terror Attack: Tensions between India and Pakistan have further escalated following the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Pakistan has now closed its airspace to Indian airlines, meaning Indian aircraft will no longer be able to utilize Pakistani airspace.
PM Modi avoids Pakistani Airspace
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi avoided using Pakistani airspace on his return from a visit to Saudi Arabia. Upon receiving news of the Pahalgam terrorist attack, PM Modi cut short his foreign trip and returned early.
His plane flew via Oman, Gujarat, and Rajasthan before landing in Delhi, clearly signaling India's resolve.
India's Firm Stance and Pakistan's Frustration
Following the Pahalgam attack, India has sent a clear message to Pakistan that it will not compromise on its security and diplomatic stance. Pakistan, in protest, described the consideration of revoking the Indus Waters Treaty as an act of war. Despite this, India has not retreated and remains committed to b action against terrorism.
