The meteorological department predicts a rise in maximum temperatures in Delhi. Rain is anticipated in Madhya Pradesh, while Uttar Pradesh is experiencing increasing heat. Cloudy skies are expected in Rajasthan. Uttarakhand is also experiencing a heatwave, while Chhattisgarh anticipates rainfall.

Delhi Faces Double Jeopardy: Heat and Pollution

Along with the rising heat, Delhi's Air Quality Index (AQI) has also deteriorated. At 9 am on Wednesday, the AQI was recorded at 201, falling under the 'poor' category. The meteorological department forecasts clear skies and humidity levels around 50 percent during the day.

Indications of Rain in Madhya Pradesh

The weather is changing in the southern part of Madhya Pradesh. Light rain is expected in Narmadapuram, Indore, Jabalpur, and Bhopal divisions. There is also a possibility of rain in Gwalior and Chambal divisions. Temperatures are expected to rise in the coming days.

Record-Breaking Heat in Uttar Pradesh

The heatwave in Uttar Pradesh is intensifying rapidly. In Lucknow, the minimum temperature was recorded at 16.7 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature at 36.7 degrees Celsius. Light rain is expected in some parts of the state today, but the weather is expected to clear from April 4th.

Cloudy Skies and Light Rain Likely in Rajasthan

Cloudy skies and light rain are anticipated in several parts of Rajasthan. Thunderstorms are possible in Jaipur, Bharatpur, and Kota on April 3rd. Strong winds are also expected due to a western disturbance.

Uttarakhand Experiencing Increased Heat

The effects of the heatwave are becoming evident in Uttarakhand. Temperatures are rising in both hilly and plain areas. The heatwave is expected to intensify further in April.

Rain Alert for Chhattisgarh

Signs of changing weather are emerging in Chhattisgarh. A light rain alert has been issued for Dhamtari, Gariaband, Kanker, Kondagaon, and Mahasamund. The meteorological department has predicted light showers with thunderstorms.
