Delhi Capitals' Aggressive Start

Jemimah Rodrigues followed soon after, failing to score before being caught by Rajeshwari Gayakwad off Sophie Ecclestone's ball attempting a paddle sweep. Kiran Navgire's Outstanding Innings for UP Warriorz
UP Warriorz made a b start, with Kiran Navgire and Deepti Sharma putting on a 66-run partnership for the first wicket. This partnership was broken by Annabel Sutherland, who had the 23-year-old Deepti caught by Jemimah Rodrigues. Deepti scored 16 runs off 15 balls. Kiran Navgire played a powerful innings of 51 runs, including six fours and three sixes, but Sutherland provided UP with a second blow, dismissing her at 73.
Following this, UP's batting order faltered, with Tahlia McGrath and Deepti Sharma quickly dismissed for one and seven runs respectively. However, Shweta Sehrawat and Grace Harris steadied the ship, adding a 36-run partnership for the fifth wicket. Harris fell for 12 runs, caught by Arundhati Reddy. Chinelle Henry and Sehrawat then put on a useful 44-run partnership off 25 balls for the sixth wicket.
The 20-year-old Indian all-rounder Sehrawat scored a brilliant 37 runs, while Henry remained unbeaten on 33*, and Sophie Ecclestone added two runs. Annabel Sutherland was the most successful bowler for Delhi Capitals, taking two wickets.
