The United States supplied Pakistan with advanced weaponry, claimed to be indestructible. This included state-of-the-art fighter jets, missile systems, and precision-guided munitions.

India Defeated American Weapons: The long-standing tension between India and Pakistan is well-known. Pakistan has repeatedly engaged in hostile actions against India, whether through terrorist attacks or cross-border infiltration. The recent terrorist attack in Pulwama has once again ignited widespread anger in India, with many demanding a b response to Pakistan's aggression.

History demonstrates that whenever Pakistan has attempted to attack India, it has received a b counter-offensive. Interestingly, each time Pakistan has relied on America's so-called 'invincible' weapons, India has not only neutralized them but also proven America's claims false. Let's examine how India decisively defeated the lethal weaponry supplied by the United States to Pakistan.

1. Patton Tanks: Brought Down by RCLs

The 1965 Indo-Pakistani War is considered one of the largest tank battles. Pakistan possessed American-supplied modern Patton tanks, considered the most powerful and invincible tanks of that era. India, on the other hand, had British-made Centurion and older Sherman tanks. When Pakistan's 1st Armored Division attacked India with nearly 200 tanks, it was believed that the Indian army would be unable to withstand the assault.

However, the tide turned when Abdul Hamid, using his RCL jeep (Rocket Launcher Mounted jeep), destroyed several Pakistani Patton tanks one after another. Hamid alone destroyed more than seven tanks, and India pushed the Pakistani tanks back across the border. This battle entered history as an example of how, despite inferior tanks and limited resources, Indian soldiers decimated the supposedly 'invincible' American weapons.

2. PNS Ghazi: American Arrogance Submerged

The 1971 Indo-Pakistani War was fought not only on land and air but also at sea. Pakistan had the advanced, long-range submarine PNS Ghazi, leased from the United States, which was considered a significant threat to India. Its mission was to destroy India's aircraft carrier, INS Vikrant.

India employed a clever strategy, sending the older warship INS Rajput in place of INS Vikrant to deceive the Ghazi. Rajput engaged in intense naval warfare, resulting in the Ghazi sinking. Ninety-three Pakistani sailors perished in this incident, effectively eliminating Pakistan's most potent naval asset. This victory showcased India's naval capabilities to the world.

3. F-16 vs. MiG-21: The Old MiG Becomes a New Hero

In response to the 2019 Pulwama attack, India conducted airstrikes in Balakot, destroying terrorist camps. The following day, Pakistan attempted to retaliate using its F-16 fighter jets. However, the Indian Air Force not only repelled the attack but Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman, piloting a MiG-21 Bison, shot down a Pakistani F-16.

This engagement became historic because the MiG-21 is a third-generation aircraft, while the F-16 is a modern fourth-generation fighter jet. However, Varthaman's skill and courage overcame this technological disparity, delivering a decisive blow to Pakistan. This event exemplified India's military capabilities and exposed the false claims surrounding American weaponry.

When Pakistan attempted to use the American weapons, touted as 'invincible,' against India, India not only neutralized them but also demonstrated that true strength lies not in the weapons themselves, but in the courage and skill of the soldiers who wield them. India has always responded with restraint, but when necessary, has delivered decisive counter-offensives.
