However, sources suggest a meeting of the legislative party is scheduled for February 15 or 16, where the leader of the legislative party will be elected. The elected leader will then become the Chief Minister of Delhi.

BJP in Hustle; Feedback Being Taken from MLAs

Activity within the Delhi BJP has intensified before the announcement of the next Chief Minister. On Tuesday, February 11, several Delhi BJP MLAs met with BJP National President JP Nadda. One-on-one feedback is being collected from the MLAs. Approximately 15 MLAs met with Nadda on Tuesday, and meetings with the remaining MLAs will continue on Wednesday.

The MLAs who met with JP Nadda include Anil Sharma, Shikha Roy, Satish Upadhyay, Arvindar Singh Lovely, Vijender Gupta, Ajay Mahawar, Rekha Gupta, Kapil Mishra, Kulwant Rana, and Anil Goyal.

BJP's Resounding Victory in Delhi Assembly Elections

The BJP secured a historic majority in the Delhi Assembly elections, winning 48 out of 70 seats. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) won 22 seats, while the Congress failed to win any seats. Deliberations within the BJP regarding the Chief Minister's position are ongoing, with several names in contention.

Leading Contenders for the CM Post

Within the BJP, the name of Pravesh Verma, who defeated Arvind Kejriwal in the New Delhi constituency, is leading the race for the CM post. Other names being considered include Mohan Singh Bist, Satish Upadhyay, Vijender Gupta, and several women MLAs.
